HVL-(High School Volleyball League) The high school volleyball league was established by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 1989. It is an interscholastic volleyball league for secondary schools, divided into boys' and girls' high school volleyball leagues.
We can see that in both student leagues and professional leagues, each team has its own mascot representing not only the school or team but also the spirit and beliefs of the team.
Feng Yuan Commercial High School-War Wolf
Representative: Wolves excel in teamwork, wit, and sharpness, much like the Fengyuan Commercial High School volleyball team. Each player possesses the precise skills of a wolf hunting and the competitive spirit to swiftly identify opponents' weaknesses, utilize outstanding teamwork, and secure victory in every match, enabling Fengyuan Commercial High School to conquer all challenges and triumph in the premier league.
Overseas Chinese Senior High School-Sha Wa
Representative: The shark reigns as the king of the ocean, powerful, agile, brave, and intelligent. Similarly, the significance of the "ship" in the Overseas Chinese Senior High School emblem signifies overseas students venturing across seas with courageous spirit, blending diverse cultures to exhibit exceptional adaptability and resilience. Coupled with the dominant force akin to a shark on the field, Overseas Chinese Senior High School is unquestionably the premier predator in the A-grade league.
Dongshan Senior High School-Jia Ba
Representative: The leopard is known as an agile hunter in the animal kingdom, characterized by its nimble movements and keen observation skills. Similar traits are found in the players of Dongshan Senior High School's women's volleyball team: they are agile, possess strong observational skills, and demonstrate exceptional intelligence. Their adept use of tactics on the field ensures a high level of unpredictability, allowing Dongshan Senior High School to dominate the A-grade league!
Furthermore, Dongshan Senior High School's coach adds another perspective on the origin of "Jia Ba" : In the past, at Dongshan Senior High School, there was a group of girls who loved playing volleyball and a coach who was concerned that players weren't eating enough. The coach believed that being well-fed was essential to competing for championships with vigor. Therefore, every day, the coach would ask them, "Did you eat well?" ("Yu Jia Ba?"). With the players always well-fed and giving their all on the court, they overcame challenges and eventually achieved the league championship, highlighting the importance of "Jia Ba". As a result, the mascot was aptly named "Jia Ba"(甲霸).
Yingge Vocational High School-Xiao Jin Ji
Representative: The old oriole dominates the sky with its mighty strength, moving swiftly and with agility, its sharp eyes never letting any prey escape. Similarly, the Yingge Vocational High School women's volleyball team on the court resembles the old oriole, adeptly pinpointing opponents' weaknesses with precision, using exceptional speed and powerful teamwork to penetrate their defenses. Their presence guarantees a gold medal, asserting dominance in the A-grade league with formidable prowess.
The Aki-Masa Sports Foundation is honored to collaborate with Mizuno to support the champion and runner-up schools of both the HVL boys' and girls' teams by creating mascot kits representing their schools. They encourage students to uphold this spirit and honor, continuing to strive for every point on the field and move towards their dreams.

- Champion: Fengyuan High School of Commerce. Mascot: Fengshang War Wolf.
- Runner-up: Overseas Chinese High School. Mascot: Sha Wa

HVL-(High School Volleyball League) 高校バレーボールリーグは、中華民国教育部によって1989年に設立された、中等学校間のバレーボール競技リーグであり、男子高校バレーボールと女子高校バレーボールに分かれています。
学生のリーグでもプロのリーグでも、どのチームも独自のマスコットを持ちます。マスコットは学校やチームの象徴だけでなく、そのチームの精神や信念を表しています。
豊原高商の「豊商戦狼」は、チームワークに優れ、機敏で鋭い狼のようです。バレーボールチームも同様に、選手一人一人が狼の狩りのように精密な技術と勝利を求める狼性を持ち、対戦相手の弱点を迅速に見抜き、優れたチーム能力を駆使して全ての試合に勝利します。豊原高商は甲級リーグにおいて攻無不克、戦無不勝の実績を誇ります。
華僑高校の「鯊瓦」は、サメの強大さと勇敢さを象徴し、海洋での支配者としての地位を持っています。これは華僑高校の校章にある「船」と一致し、海外の学生が勇敢で無敵の精神で海を渡り、多文化の交わりから生まれる能力と超高い適応力を示しています。さらに、競技場でのサメのような圧倒的な存在感を持ち、華僑高校は間違いなく甲級リーグで最高の捕食者です。
東山高校の「甲霸」を象徴する豹は、動物界で敏捷な狩猟者であり、動きが素早く、観察力が鋭い特性を持ちます。これは東山高校の女子バレーボールチームの選手の特徴と似ており、機敏な個性、鋭い観察力、卓越した知性を持ち、戦術の柔軟な運用により、常に相手に次の一手を予測させない超高い隠密性を発揮します。これにより、東山高校は甲級リーグでの支配を確立します！
また、東山高校のコーチは「甲霸」の起源についても補足しています。かつて東山高校には、バレーボールを愛する女子選手たちと、選手たちにしっかり食事を取らせたいと思うコーチがいました。コーチは選手たちに毎日「五甲霸沒?」と尋ね、選手たちは毎日たっぷり食事を取り、試合に臨み、最終的には困難を乗り越えて連盟のチャンピオンに輝きました。最終的に皆が「甲霸」の重要性を理解し、そのために吉祥物が「甲霸」と名付けられることになりました。
鶯歌工商の「小金吉」を象徴する：老鶯はその強大な力で空を支配し、動作が敏捷で迅速、どんな獲物も鋭い鶯の目を逃れることはありません。鶯歌工商の女子バレーボールチームは、老鶯のように、鋭い精度で相手の弱点を掌握し、卓越なスピードと強力なチーム力を活用して相手の守備を打ち破ります。彼らの登場は金メダルを保証し、甲級リーグを圧倒します。
明正基金会は今回、Mizunoと協力して、HVL男子チームと女子チームの優勝と準優勝校を支援し、学校を代表するマスコットキットを製作することを光栄に思っています。彼らはこの精神と名誉を持って、学生たちがコートで一球一球戦い続け、夢に向かって進むことを励ましています。
