The press conference of the Care Cup competition hosted by the Taiwan Indigenous Baseball Development Association (TIBDA) was held on November 13, 2023. This year, a total of 62 teams participated, with 15 teams featuring a full Indigenous lineup. Additionally, a little league team from Okinawa will come to Taiwan to engage with us. The games will start from November 24 to November 27, 2023 in Hualien.
Aki-Masa Sports Foundation supports this event wholeheartedly because the competition represents “Inheritance”, especially when professional baseball players such as Chen Yung-chi and Yang Yao-hsun, who both participated in the First Care Cup competition, came back to interact with the children outside the competition. It truly shows the meaning of “Inheritance”.
Acknowledging that many teams have restrained resources, MIZUNO specially sponsors each player a MIZUNO practice jersey this year. Although it is a small gift, it symbolizes support and encouragement to these young players given by MIZUNO.
Chairman of TIBDA, Mr. Lin Chih-sheng mentioned “This is the 30th year of the Care Cup competition. Thanks to the continuous efforts from our seniors, I can then carry on this legacy. Thank you to all our sponsors. Without your generous support and assistance, we could not continue this tradition. These glories belong to all of you.”
原棒協の「関懐カップ」30周年記者会見が2023年11月13日（月）に開催され、今年は総勢62チームが参加しました。その中には15チームが完全な先住民チームであり、沖縄からのリトルリーグチームも台湾にやってきて交流します。試合は11月24日から11月27日まで、花蓮で熱戦が繰り広げられます。
今回、明正运动基金会このスポーツイベントを力強く支援しています。なぜなら、私たちは大会から「伝承」を見ているからです。特に試合以外の野球教室で、関懐カップの第1回大会でサポートを受けた選手である陳鏞基と陽耀勳が戻ってきて、子供たちと交流しているのを見ると、これが伝承なのだと思います！
多くのチームが資源に乏しいことを知っているため、ミズノは今年、すべてのチームに対して各選手にミズノの練習ユニフォームを提供しました。それは小さな贈り物かもしれませんが、その中には私たちが子供たちに与える大きなサポートと励ましが詰まっています。
