CTBC Black Panther Cup National High School Baseball Tournament

A stage built for youth! A battle fought for dreams! This is the Black Panther Cup National High School Baseball Tournament.
The first Black Panther Cup Tournament ignited its competitive spirit in 2013, and since 2015, it has been proudly sponsored and renamed as the CTBC Black Panther Cup National High School Baseball Tournament by CTBC Bank.

As the largest high school baseball tournament in Taiwan, the competition spans across all 22 counties and cities, with approximately 200 teams registering each year. Inspired by Japan’s Koshien Tournament, it adopts a single-elimination format without classification by school size or gender, earning it the reputation of being the "Taiwanese Koshien."

Each year, following the tournament, the "CTBC Black Panther Cup Baseball Tour" is held, inviting coaches and players from the CTBC Brothers professional baseball team to travel across Taiwan, conducting specialized training sessions for grassroots baseball players. To date, this initiative has benefited nearly 3,000 young athletes.

In 2021, the tournament introduced the Social Return on Investment (SROI) model, certified by Social Value International (SVI) in the UK. The report revealed that for every NT$1 invested in the CTBC Black Panther Cup events, NT$12.49 in social value is generated—making it the world’s first SROI-certified report on corporate-supported baseball education programs.

青春のための舞台！夢を追いかける戦い！それが ブラックパンサー旗全国高校野球大会 です。
第1回大会は2013年 に開催され、2015年から中国信託商業銀行（CTBC Bank）が冠スポンサー となり、大会名を 「中信盃ブラックパンサー旗全国高校野球大会」 に改名しました。

ブラックパンサー旗は、現在 台湾最大規模の高校野球大会 であり、台湾 22県市 に広がる約 200チーム が毎年参加しています。本大会は 日本の甲子園大会のシステムを参考にし、学校規模や性別を問わないシングルエリミネーション方式を採用 しており、「台湾版甲子園」と称されています。

また、大会終了後には毎年 「中信盃ブラックパンサー旗巡回トレーニング」 を実施し、プロ野球チーム 中信兄弟のコーチや選手 が台湾各地を訪問。若手選手への特別指導を行い、プロの技術と経験を伝承 する活動を行っています。現在までに 約3,000人 が参加しています。

2021年には「社会的投資収益率（SROI）」を導入 し、英国「国際社会価値協会」（SVI）による認証を取得。この分析によると、中信盃ブラックパンサー旗大会に 1台湾ドルを投資するごとに12.49台湾ドルの社会的価値 を生み出すと評価されました。これは、企業が支援する野球育成プロジェクトとして世界初のSROI認証レポート となります。
