The 2023 Mizuno Marathon Relay Race

2023 Mizuno Marathon Relay Race kicked off on November 26, 2023 at Wanli North Coast of New Taipei City. After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mizuno Marathon Relay Race returned with a new competition route telling everyone : "We're back!"

There were a total of 241 teams with approximately total of 2,205 individuals participated in this competition. Unlike previous years, the route of this year was based on the "Wanjinshi Marathon," with a total length extended to 43 kilometers. Despite the strong winds and sudden rain along the North Coast the night before, when the day dawned, the weather gradually cleared. The race officially started at 7 am, many runners enjoyed the cool and slightly drizzly climate.

The well-known running group called "Big Feet" registered a total of five teams, namely Dragon, Tiger, Leopard, Wolf, and Eagle respectively in the Social category. The Dragon team in particular was lead by 2019 The National Games Taoyuan Marathon Gold medalist “Black Thunder” Jiang Jiewen. After the fierce competition, the Dragon team crossed the finish line first and claimed the championship.

The Student category was divided into College Level A and B groups, High School group, and Junior High School group. Koun Ron Junior High School secured the championship in the Junior High School group, achieving an impressive 12 consecutive victories. The High School group was won by Huiwen High School from Taichung, while the College Level A group was won by the National Taiwan Sport University A team, and the Level B group was won by Yangming Chiao Tung University.

Aki-Masa Sports Foundation highly appreciates MIZUNO’s dedication and support to sports in Taiwan, and is committed to fully supporting MIZUNO in continuing to promote sports in Taiwan. Recognizing the rising costs, the registration fee for the Student category increased from NT$5000 to NT$8000. To alleviate this, the Foundation provided a subsidy of NT$3000 for each registered group under the Student category in order to maintain the registration fee same a 3 years ago, hoping to encourage more students to participate without financial hesitations.

2023年11月26日、ミズノマラソンリレーレースが新北市万里北海岸で正式に熱狂的に始まりました。3年間の中断を経て、新しいコースと新しい雰囲気で、今回は皆さんに「帰ってきました！」と宣言しています。

睽違の三年ぶりとなるミズノマラソンリレーレース。今回は241隊（約2205人）が一堂に会し、従来とは異なり、今年のコースは「万金石マラソン」を参考にし、総距離は43キロに延長されました。前夜には北海岸で強風と雨が吹き荒れましたが、天が明るくなるにつれて風雨も次第に収まり、午前7時に正式にスタート。爽やかでわずかな雨の降る気候の中、多くのランナーが楽しいランを楽しんでいました。

社会部門には国内で有名なランニングチーム「大腳ㄚ」が5つのチームで一気に登録しました。大腳ㄚには、龍（ドラゴン）、虎（タイガー）、豹（パンサー）、狼（ウルフ）、鷹（ホーク）があり、特に龍隊は多くの著名なランナーで構成され、全運動会マラソンの金メダリストである​​【ブラックライトニング-蔣介文】が率いています。龍隊は国立体育大学Aチームとの競争を最後の一分まで繰り広げ、最終的には龍隊の李立軍がゴールに最初に到達して優勝しました。

学生部門は大学甲組、大学乙組、高校組、そして中学組に分かれています。中学組では、光栄国中が優勝し、大会で驚異的な12連覇の記録を打ち立てました。高校組は台中の惠文高校が優勝し、大学甲組は国立体育大学Aチームが優勝し、乙組は陽明交通大学が制しました。

今回のイベントでは、財団法人台中市明正運動基金会はミズノが台湾のスポーツに対して持っている熱意を見て、地方のスポーツ、青少年スポーツ、プロ選手までサポートしています。そして、みんなで参加できる国民的なスポーツ、ミズノマラソンリレーレースも開催されています。そのため、財団法人台中市明正運動基金会はミズノが台湾のスポーツをサポートし続けることを全面的に支持しています。同時に、ミズノマラソンリレーレースは団体戦としては参加費が非常にお得であることを認識していますが、物価の上昇に伴い、学生部門の参加費が5000元から8000元に変更されました。そのため、当会は学生部門に3000元の助成金を提供し、参加費を引き続き5000元に保つこととなりました。これにより、参加費の関係で多くの学生が参加をためらうことなく、活発に参加できることを期待しています。
