Since its establishment in June 2023, the Aki-Masa Foundation held its first Board of Directors meeting in March 2024. We were honored to have the President of Mizuno, along with directors Mr. Takeshi Shichijo and Mr. Hiroshi Miyake, join us from Japan for this significant event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main contents of the Board of Directors meeting<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Board of Directors reviewed and introduced various activities and events sponsored by the Aki-Masa Foundation at the end of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The integration of Mizuno with Taiwanese professional teams was introduced. Besides its long-term commitment to corporate volleyball, Mizuno participated in basketball events for the first time in 2023 by sponsoring the P.league Formosa Dreamers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. One of the key issues discussed in the board meeting was the initiation of the \"Rise Again\" project, suggested by Mizuno's President. This project aims to help injured athletes return to the field successfully. Injuries are a major concern for athletes, especially student-athletes. Without adequate medical resources and a well-planned return strategy, injured athletes might be forced to end their sports careers. This project's significance is immense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The board discussed the sports events and charitable activities that the Aki-Masa Foundation and Mizuno will jointly invest in for 2024, and looked ahead to future cooperation opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The successful hosting of this board meeting marks an important step forward for the Aki-Masa Foundation in promoting athlete development and sports philanthropy. We look forward to making further contributions to athletes and the sports industry in partnership with Mizuno in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
